These actions have confused holders, misinformed newcomers, and distorted how SHIB’s history and purpose are understood. Shib.wiki was created to provide a clear, factual alternative.
Our mission is to document what can be verified about SHIB, its origins, supply mechanics, burns, and important developments, without promoting the made-up narratives we've seen or amplifying unsupported claims. Its purpose is to give the community information based on verifiable evidence rather than assumptions or manipulated stories.

It was founded by the creator of the first actual project built around $SHIB, Shibburn, the original and most widely recognized burn tracker in the crypto space. From the beginning, the developer understood a simple truth about SHIB: no one owns it, no one has authority over it, and no one has the right to claim leadership or “official” status. We remained distant from groups pushing falsehoods and focused solely on $SHIB from day one. That same commitment carries over into Shib.wiki.
